ARRA GRANT RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED SOON

NEA AWARDS MAAA $50,000

 

The National Endowment for the Arts has awarded Mid-America Arts Alliance and its ExhibitsUSA program $50,000 in support of Sketches to Steel: The Design Process of Sculptor Albert Paley.

The ExhibitsUSA exhibition Sister Corita: The Joyous Revolutionary is currently at the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery in Canton, New York until Oct. 20, 2009.

   

Centuries of Progress: American World’s Fairs, 1853–1982 from the Hagley Museum and Library presents a remarkable overview of the fairs, from the Crystal Palace Exposition in New York to the World’s Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee. Approximately 150 objects, photographs, and ephemera detail more than a century of progress, promotion, and public response. Centuries of Progress: American World's Fairs, 1853-1982 is currently on exhibition at Price Tower Arts Center, Bartlesville, Oklahoma through July 19, 2009. Interested in booking this exhibition?
