PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT GRANTS

Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA) offers Professional Development Support Grants to artists and arts-based professionals in our region (Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas). Grants are awarded on a first come, first served basis until all funding has been allocated. The average award for this grant program is $500, but awards vary. Limit one application per individual artist and/or arts-based organization.

All monies for Fiscal Year 2013 have been allocated. Applications for FY14 activities will be accepted beginning June 1, 2013.

Applicant Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be:
  • Be listed on the M-AAA Artists’ Registry, a sole proprietor of their own arts-based business, or  affiliated with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts-based organization;
  • Be a resident of or located in the Mid-America Arts Alliance region: Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, or Texas;
  • Be in good standing with M-AAA, i.e., have submitted all reporting paperwork from previous fiscal year's granting programs; and
