Professional Development

The Professional Development division provides institutional advancement, capacity building, and professional development opportunities for Mid-America Arts Alliance’s constituents, partners, and staff.

Formally founded in 2003, the division develops and implements constituent-based needs assessments and pilots new training projects within Mid-America’s six-state region.

Programs administered by the Professional Development division include:

  • Hands-On Experiential Learning Project (HELP for small museums)
  • Job Alike
  • Ozark Plateau Initiative (OPI)
  • Research
