The annual Job Alike meeting is organized by the professional development department and provides an opportunity for Mid-America staff, and staff from the six-state arts agencies to convene and discuss issues relevant to their jobs. During the two-day meeting both Mid-America staff and the state arts agency representatives present to the group what their roles are at their respective organizations, and how we can better work together to promote the arts and provide access to cultural opportunities for our constituents.

Previous Job Alikes have been attended by assistant directors, community development staff, public information officers and performing arts staff.
