NEH on the Road offers an exciting opportunity for communities of all sizes to experience some of the best exhibitions funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Each of the four exhibitions has been developed for small to midsize museums, based on a larger exhibition funded by NEH. NEH on the Road exhibitions feature a compelling mix of objects, graphics, text, and interactives, plus a wide array of educational resources.

For over thirty years, NEH has supported excellence in museum exhibitions. We invite you to experience this quality by hosting an NEH on the Road exhibition at your institution. It can become the centerpiece of dynamic programming, memorable school tours, and exciting public events.

Each exhibition is available for the extraordinary fee of $1,000 for a five-week hosting period, plus one-way shipping. Shipping subsidies are available. Space needed is approximately 2,000 square feet for each exhibition.
