ExhibitsUSA Hires New Administrative Assistant Kansas City, MO – ExhibitsUSA, a national division of Mid-America Arts Alliance that organizes traveling exhibitions, has hired Sherrie Albert as their new Administrative Assistant. Albert will work under the supervision of Lin Nelson-Mayson, Director of ExhibitsUSA.
“Sherrie has experience working with accounting systems, and she’s recently worked with a very well-known Kansas City nonprofit organization,” said Nelson-Mayson. “In addition, every one of her past work experiences has required her to be a proficient in time management and multi-tasking. I think she will provide wonderful organization and assistance to our department.” Albert has formerly worked in administrative support roles at Freight Rate Service Company, Sprint, Inc., and The Learning Exchange, all in Kansas City, Missouri. She also served as a senior accounting clerk in the employee benefits department at Commerce Bank. “I’m very pleased to be joining Mid-America Arts Alliance,” Albert said. “I know that my skills will be put to good use here, and that’s always a rewarding experience.” A native of Carrollton, Missouri, Albert is currently pursuing a BS in business management from Park University and expects to complete her degree later this year. Mid-America Arts Alliance, founded in 1972, is a nonprofit regional arts
organization based in Kansas City, Missouri. It is governed by a board
of directors drawn from its partner states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri,
Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. Major support is provided by the National
