Mid-America Arts Alliance Appoints New Finance and IT Manager

Kansas City, MO – Mid-America Arts Alliance announces the appointment of Kasama Kasemvudhi as Finance and IT Manager. Kasemvudhi supports Gregory A. Hubbard, Director of Finance and IT, in an extensive array of financial activities, including annual audits, tax preparation, and financial reporting. In addition, he manages networking and computer needs for M-AAA.

Kasemvudhi previously worked as a Business Technology Consultant for Help on Technology and Training Solutions in Olathe, Kansas. In this capacity, he became acquainted with Mid-America Arts Alliance’s technology needs.

“Kasama's IT skills are well known, but many of our staff weren’t aware that he also has a master's degree in business administration,” said Hubbard. “We’re extremely fortunate to have someone like Kasama who is willing to fill diverse roles, and who fills those roles so capably and professionally.”

In addition to his career as a technology consultant, Kasemvudhi regularly works as a Computer Network and Application Instructor at the Center for Business and Technology at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas. He has taught introductory to advanced networking courses in Windows XP/2000, Windows 2000 Server, Wireless/LAN Networking, and Network Security. He has also co-trained employees from various companies such as Sprint and Hallmark in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, and Photoshop.

Kasemvudhi received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in finance and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on management and advanced information analysis technology from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. He also received an Associate of Applied Science in Information Technology degree from Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas.

“I’m pleased to be able to apply so much of my education by working with diverse areas at M-AAA,” said Kasemvudhi. “I have a lot of experience with network administration and support, but I look forward to working in finance, too.”
