Mid-America
Arts Alliance has always helped make connections between
communities and talented performing artists, and now we’re
heading south—to Mexico! Thanks to generous support from the National Endowment
for the Arts, M-AAA has funding available for presenters
in the six states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska,
Oklahoma, and Texas to support performances by artists from
Mexico. This exciting opportunity is available to all presenters
in the region on a first-come, first-served basis. Subsidy
will be up to 50% of the artist contract fee. [Read more about the Mexico
Transnational Project] In partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts Regional Touring Program, Mid-America Arts Alliance, Arts Midwest, the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, and the New England Foundation for the Arts will underwrite performance residencies for qualified engagements in their regions through presenter fee support.
