Artist INC Live is a cutting edge training seminar that addresses the specific business needs and challenges artists of all disciplines face every day. Expanding each year, professional development trainings are now available in Kansas City, Argenta, Austin, Oklahoma City, and Omaha.

Professional Development Opportunity: Earlybird Deadline July 10

ArtsMidwest is bringing its annual conference to Kansas City, MO, on September 9–12, 2015. M-AAA is offering Professional Development Support Grants for artists and arts professionals to attend. These grants reimburse up to $1,000 for expenses incurred through certain activities that professionally enhance business acumen, and expand skills and knowledge in the arts. Get details here. Participants who register by July 10, 2015 will receive a discount.

Kansas City First Fridays: See you in August!

In honor of the 4th of July holiday, Mid-America Arts Alliance will be closed for July First Friday (July 3). Don't miss us on August 7: we'll have a live performance from Katy Guillen and the Girls (7:00 p.m.) and a small collection from the traveling ExhibitsUSA exhibition Second Time Around: The Hubcap as Art (6:00–8:00 p.m.).
