Applications Now Open for Artist INC NW Arkansas

Join us this summer in Fayetteville, in partnership with the Regional Arts Service Organization of the Northwest Arkansas Council

Artist INC provides cutting-edge training seminars that address the specific daily business needs and challenges artists of all disciplines face. Limited to twenty-five participants per seminar, artists gather for one night a week for eight weeks to learn business skills specific to their art practice and apply those skills cooperatively with their peers.

Applications are open now through May 7. The program will take place 6:30–9:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings from June 23 to August 11 at The Brewer Family Entrepreneurship Hub in Fayetteville. Artist INC is committed to keeping a safe and healthy environment for artists. An announcement will by made in early June if this schedule needs to change due to COVID-19 and CDC guidelines.

Application Requirements

Applicants must be at least eighteen years old and live within an 80-mile radius of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Undergraduate students are ineligible to apply, graduate students are eligible if they are not currently enrolled in classes during the Artist INC Session Dates (June 23–August 11). All selected artists who participate in NWA Artist INC Live 2020 will have the $150 fee waived due to the current economic crisis. Participants are required to attend all sessions of the workshop, barring illness or emergency.
