Arkansas Arts Council Fellowship / Deadline: April 13, 2018
Individual Artist Fellowships are unconditional, non-matching awards made directly to individual artists. Awarded annually, these fellowships recognize the artistic creative excellence of the recipient’s work and enable the selected artists to devote more time and energy to creating their art and mastering their craft. Funding categories change each year. Up to nine fellowships of $4,000 may be awarded.
The Fiscal Year 2019 categories are:
Literary Arts – Playwriting
Performing Arts – Music Composition, classical, Western tradition
Visual Arts – Works on Paper
About the Arkansas Arts Council:
The Arkansas Arts Council advances and empowers the arts by providing services and funding for programming that encourages and assists literary, performing and visual artists in achieving standards of professional excellence. The Arkansas Arts Council also provides technical and financial assistance to Arkansas arts organizations and other providers of cultural and educational programs.
