Call for Proposals: CONNECT Curatorial Residency / Deadline: March 16, 2018

CONNECT is a three month residency supporting innovative curatorial practices while linking curators to Roots & Culture’s community of artists and audiences.
CONNECT now solely serves women of color curators, to contribute to a realignment of equity in the art world.
CONNECT is open to curators working locally as well as nationally and internationally.
The residency is exhibition-based. Applicants will submit a proposal for a single exhibition that they will be responsible for organizing at the gallery, that will open at the end of the second month of their residency. Roots & Culture will provide on site housing, a monthly stipend of $200, and a shipping budget of $500 to the successful applicant. Local curators can opt out of the on-site accommodations.
Residency dates: June 9th through August 25th, 2018
