Governor’s Residence Exhibition / Deadline: May 1, 2018

The Governor’s Residence Exhibition program was started in 1992 by then Nebraska First Lady Diane Nelson. Since that time, NAC has partnered with the Governor’s Residence to showcase the work of more than 200 Nebraska artists. This unique space allows civic leaders, citizens, school children and other visitors to acknowledge and appreciate the diversity of statewide artistic talent. Eligible artwork must be two-dimensional, suitable for hanging and have appropriate content for the venue. Curated group shows will be considered. Schools and other organizations that focus on visual arts education are encouraged to apply.

The Governor’s Residence exhibition space is open to all Nebraska artists 21yrs or older. The space is limited to 2D artwork. Artwork must be prepared and ready to hang safely and securely from the traditional rail hanging system and finished on the backside so as not to damage the wallpaper or other wall treatments. There is no capacity to support audio/video or digital work.

Current exhibition application period ends May 1, 2018.
