OKC Seeks Public Art / Deadline: September 26

The City of Oklahoma City seeks submissions for public art. OKC plans three new 1% for art projects in the following spaces:

Lobby of the Bennett Event Center on the Oklahoma Fair Grounds

(Works of interactive art that respond to motion, air movement, sound, meteorological conditions, or other stimuli, and that incorporate use of light and possibly sound are particularly encouraged.)

Maps 3 West River Trail

(Environmental art, land art, art using recycled or recyclable materials, or art using natural and locally sourced materials is favored but not required. )

Will Rogers World Airport Terminal Expansion

(Works should be designed into the flooring and acid-etched into the glass.)

Eligibility: Open to all practicing artists 18 and over. All artists and teams selected for final proposals must attend all required information sessions and site visits.
