Learn more about our programs that support artists and creatives
Subscribe For UpdatesMany individual artists and creatives are eligible for Mid-America Arts Alliance grants, fellowships, professional development, and support.
If you engage in a creative practice, you are an artist.
Our definition of “artist” is broad and includes, but isn’t limited to, creative workers, visual artists, performers, writers, poets, music creators, culture bearers, makers, artisans, storytellers, social conveners, idea purveyors, imaginaries, visionaries, teaching artists, and organizers.
Programs, grants, career development opportunities, and peer networking are important to keeping artists in our communities engaged and thriving.
