DESCRIPTION

Want to demystify the grant process? This hour-long, in-person workshop explains how the Catalyze grant program serves artists of central Arkansas with $10K practice-based funding and mentorship. In the How to Apply Yourself workshop, you’ll learn about the Catalyze application process and have time to ask your questions.

Catalyze fellowships of $10,000 are awarded annually to twenty-five artists, who may choose how best to use the funding in support of their creative practices. Catalyze is open to artists of all disciplines in the central Arkansas counties of Cleburne, Conway, Faulkner, Garland, Grant, Hot Spring, Jefferson, Lonoke, Perry, Pope, Prairie, Pulaski, Saline, Van Buren, White, and Yell.

The program ignites change in the careers of individual artists through practice-based, as opposed to project-based, grant funding and mentorship. Funds may be used for any purpose that supports the continued development of their creative practice, including but not limited to equipment, travel, studio space, child care, professional services, research, supplies, and contingency savings.

Learn more about this grant and how to apply at the upcoming How To Apply Yourself workshop.

Catalyze is a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance made possible through the support of the Windgate Foundation.
